Arizona Football Edges Kansas State in Early Odds—Can the Underdog Surprise Everyone?

Arizona football has surprised many by quickly matching its total number of games covered against the spread from the entire 2024 season—in just two weeks. Now, the Wildcats are eager to extend that streak to three when they face off against Kansas State on Friday night in Tucson. Opening as 1.5-point favorites, Arizona faces a Kansas State squad that’s struggled to meet expectations, dropping two of its first three contests and failing to cover the spread so far. Coming off a dominant 48-3 victory over Weber State, where they were favored by more than four touchdowns, the Wildcats have already shown a marked improvement from last year’s ATS performance under Brent Brennan. With three straight successful covers at home dating back to last season, Arizona is aiming to build momentum against a Kansas State team that’s been one of college football’s early disappointments—especially after their top-20 preseason ranking. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., with the game airing on Fox, and the over/under currently sits at 54.5 points—an intriguing line given Arizona’s strong under trends this season. LEARN MORE
