Chris Henry’s son has officially made a decision on his football future.

On Tuesday, the son of the late NFL wideout took to social media to announce that he’s found the place that he wants to launch his CFB career — and it’s good one.

Henry Jr., a four-star receiver out of Mater Dei, has a striking resemblance to his dad and received offers from USC, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas and Clemson. But it’s another major offer that grabbed his attention and it’s where he’ll attempt to make a name.

“Officially shutting my recruitment down i’m 100% locked in and ready to work!!” Henry posted, sharing his commitment to THE Ohio State. “[All glory to God].”

Fans in the Buckeye state were certainly happy to hear his decision.

“OH MY GOSH. YES,” a user tagged Henry. “YOU ARE THE GOAT.”

“The next great one,” another predicted.

“I would say this is good news,” a fan replied.

“Smith and Henry Jr going to put up some CRAZY highlights. DBs aren’t ready,” another person predicted.

“Be ready to win some Nattys Welcome to the FAMILY young man!”

Henry’s father was a third-round pick of the Bengals coming out of West Virginia back in 2005 and had all the traits to be an outstanding NFL receiver.

Unfortunately, off-field issues got in the way of that potential and he tragically passed away five seasons into his career at age 26.

The trio of Chad Ochocinco, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Henry made for a pretty fun watch in the mid-2000s with Carson Palmer at quarterback. But seeing his son potentially line up opposite of Jeremiah Smith could be even better if the top-rated wideout plays his cards right.
