Robert Griffin III Reveals Shocking Reason He’s So Impressed with Giants Rookie
So, here’s a thought to chew on: Could the New York Giants’ newest quarterback, Jaxson Dart, be the diamond in the rough that everyone’s been waiting for? With three fresh QBs on the roster, the buzz might usually settle on the seasoned vets, but this kid from Ole Miss has already turned heads—most notably, Robert Griffin III’s. Now, Griff isn’t exactly throwing compliments around like confetti, so when he gushes about Dart’s precision and poise in just his first couple of NFL outings, it’s hard to ignore. Is this just preseason hype, or are we witnessing the early stages of a franchise-saving talent? Buckle up—this rookie might just be rewriting the Giants’ quarterback narrative quicker than anticipated.

The New York Giants have three new quarterbacks on their roster.
But more than that, they may have their quarterback for the future.
Jaxson Dart has looked the part in his first taste of NFL action.
As pointed out by former NFL QB Robert Griffin III on X, he completed 12 of 19 passes for 154 yards and one score in his debut, and he followed that by completing 14 of 16 passes for 137 passing yards, one passing touchdown, and one rushing touchdown in his second season.
That’s why he gushed about him and claimed that the Giants had found their guy.

The Ole Miss product was one of the most polarizing and intriguing prospects entering the league this season.
While the bar wasn’t particularly high in this year’s unimpressive quarterback class, some believed that he had the highest upside.
Granted, he’s still raw, but he can be molded into a legitimate NFL-caliber starter.
Dart might need some time to take the field, and he’s a long shot to start over veteran Russell Wilson.
Then again, it looks like he’s ahead of schedule in his development.
Even if it’s just the preseason, he’s shown all the intangibles that proved why so many scouts were intrigued about his potential.
Wilson hasn’t looked like his usual self since he left the Seattle Seahawks, and there will be little incentive to keep him on the field if he doesn’t keep the chains in motion.
So, who knows? Maybe they’ll turn to Dart at some point in the season.
