Ohio State won the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff in 2024, taking down Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and Notre Dame. Back in 2023, Michigan took home the national championship, beating Alabama and Washington.
It’s not just Ohio State and Michigan standing out, either. Oregon was the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff this past year. Penn State and Indiana also made the field, along with the champion Buckeyes.
