Alex Cobb – SP (hip inflammation)
The oft-injured Cobb has made at least 20 starts just twice in the last six seasons. The 37-year-old right-hander is working his way back after suffering a right hip impingement at the outset of Spring Training. Cobb recently received a series of injections to address the issue, but his recovery is essentially stalled.
Parker Meadows – OF (upper arm nerve issue)
Meadows, on the 60-day injured list with an upper arm nerve issue, started a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on May 20. With a couple of weeks of games, he could be set to make his season debut in early June.
