Griffin Conine – OF (shoulder)
Conine suffered a dislocated left shoulder on a slide into second base on April 19 and will undergo season-ending surgery. The 27-year-old outfielder was in the midst of a breakout season, hitting .281/.352/.438 over 71 plate appearances.
Xavier Edwards – SS/2B (back)
Edwards has been out since May 15th with a back strain. He began a rehab assignment two weeks later and should be back with the Marlins sometime during the first week of June. Yet, it should be noted that the team has announced he’ll be moving from shortstop to second base upon his return.
