Brandon Woodruff – SP (shoulder surgery)
Woodruff underwent shoulder surgery at the end of the 2023 season that sidelined him for all of last year. He made one appearance in spring training, tossing one scoreless inning. The 32-year-old right-hander began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville and is in line for one more start before joining the Brewers’ rotation.
DL Hall – SP (lat discomfort)
Hall suffered a lat strain in mid-February and was placed on the 60-day injured list to open the season. The 26-year-old left-hander has yet to begin a throwing progression and isn’t eligible to return until the end of May.
