The San Francisco 49ers continue reshaping their roster as they prepare for another competitive season in the NFC West.
They confirmed two roster moves on Monday, including one that had been previously reported.
Veteran kicker Greg Joseph has signed a one-year contract, creating legitimate competition for Jake Moody, who faced notable struggles during the 2024 season.
To accommodate that addition, the Niners waived defensive lineman Alex Barrett, via Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
