But they bring back plenty of stars, too, including All-American wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and defensive back Caleb Downs. Ohio State should be loaded once again.
The Buckeyes will open the year with a big game, hosting Texas at The Horseshoe. It could be a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in Columbus. ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be in town, as will FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff.”

While Avery is ready for the 2025 college football season, she’s been spending some time out west, too. She recently enjoyed a trip out to Los Angeles.

Ohio State and Texas, meanwhile, are scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. E.T. on Saturday, Aug. 30.
