Dwumfour, 27, was on of the defensive tackles who worked out for Denver on Tuesday.In a corresponding move, the Broncos waived undrafted rookie inside linebacker J.B. Brown.Denver’s defensive line just got a new splash with Michael Dwumfour signing on—yeah, the Broncos are shaking things up again. At 27, Dwumfour isn’t exactly a newcomer, but he’s certainly been around the league block a few times since going undrafted in 2021. With stops at Houston, San Francisco, and Cleveland, the guy’s bounced yet keeps knocking on doors. After a recent workout with Denver and an abrupt cut from the 49ers earlier this month, he’s landing with his seventh team—talk about a journeyman’s grind. Meanwhile, the Broncos made room by waiving rookie inside linebacker J.B. Brown, underscoring the ruthless roster chess match that is NFL preseason.
