Spartans Make Unexpected Move for 2027 DL Reilly Newman After Secretive BC Visit
You know, every now and then, a recruiting story pops up that just grabs your attention — and this one? It’s got all the makings of a good old-fashioned gridiron tale. Reilly Newman, a towering 6-foot-6, 265-pound defensive lineman from Ohio, just got a nod from none other than Michigan State — the Spartans have thrown their scholarship offer into the ring. What’s interesting here is the timing; Newman’s visit to the MSU campus for the Boston College game obviously made an impression, sparking interest from over a dozen major programs, including powerhouses like Michigan, Oregon, and Iowa. Now, he’s unranked on 247Sports, but with that kind of attention and a pile of offers stacking up, it’s only a matter of time before his stock shoots through the roof. As someone who’s been around the block in both sports and digital game plans, I’m pretty intrigued to see how this one unfolds. Curious for all the gritty details? LEARN MORE
