How Did Wilson Shock Everyone to Become Frontier Offensive Player of the Week?
There’s something electric about a quarterback who can command the field — and Montana Tech’s Jarrett Wilson did just that last weekend. This sophomore gunslinger from Polson didn’t just throw the ball around; he put on a show, racking up 335 yards and tossing three touchdowns, plus making a rare catch for a score himself. I mean, how often do you see a quarterback snag a touchdown pass? His performance helped power the No. 5 Orediggers to a resounding 49-21 victory over Dakota State, and frankly, it’s no surprise the Frontier Conference picked him as offensive player of the week. Meanwhile, over at Montana Western, a freshman named Connor Dunlea was making waves defensively, snagging an interception and breaking up two passes to fuel his team’s 40-20 win. And let’s not forget Rocky Mountain College’s Darius Haskin, who took a kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown — a game-changer in their first win of the season. These rising talents are not just playing; they’re reshaping the narrative in Frontier Conference football. Hungry for the full scoop and all the juicy details?
