From the bookmakers
“As Drake Maye continues to impress, bettors are taking notice. The Patriots are the most bet team to cover in Week 7 while bettors also believe in the Lions in primetime, the Browns cover against the Dolphins, and the Eagles to take care of business in Minnesota in what might be the best game this week.” — Christian Cipollini, BetMGM trading manager

Eagles-Vikings
Joey Feazel, Caesars Sportsbook NFL trading lead: “The bye makes a big impact. If we look at the struggles of the Eagles, it’s on the offensive side of the ball and Vikings have a good defense. Eagles aren’t playing up to their potential, haven’t played a full game. We opened Eagles -2.5, now down to -1.5. Market still believes in the Vikings, despite offensive struggles. It’s actually been one of our lowest-bet games, two-way action on Vikings ML or Eagles spread. Little money towards the over.”

Titans-Patriots
Feazel: “Opened at 6, now at a flat 7. I don’t see this heading much more towards Tennessee. We thought last week would be a let-down spot for the Patriots, but they got it done. It shows how good a coach Mike Vrabel is. Action-wise, seeing only New England money come in, not much on the total. People have been fading the Titans. I expect to see more Patriots money come in.”

Colts-Chargers
Ethan Useloff, Fanatics Sportsbook trader: “Despite a rough stretch, including barely beating Miami on a walk-off field goal, getting out-played by Washington at home, and giving Jaxson Dart his first NFL victory, the Chargers remain slight favorites. We have very even numbers from customers on this game, and folks are split on whether Indy is deservingly the top seed in the AFC at the moment.”
Falcons-49ers
Useloff: “A fascinating SNF matchup as San Francisco looks to get Brock Purdy and George Kittle back under the lights. Their injury list appears to be a starting lineup, given both the quality and quantity of players listed. However, the line is moving towards Atlanta with their strong showing in primetime versus Buffalo. The line should remain in this vicinity should the 49ers get some of its players back, but Bijan Robinson and his Falcons will keep the bets rather even on both teams.”

Feazel: “We opened 4.5, now down to 2. Falcons certainly looked impressive against the Bills. 49ers lose another player to injury, but some familiarity with coaches — Raheem Morris is familiar with 49ers team. Pretty split action, seeing a little more Falcons action on the ML, but moreso on the over. Opened 45.5, now up to 47.5.”
Bucs-Lions
Feazel: “Two-way action here, no surprise that public loves Baker Mayfield. Lions also being a public darling, we’re seeing either people bet Lions spread or Bucs ML. Slightly more money on the over. I expect once we get closer to game day, we’re going to need to go under with all the SGPs. This is where the public hones in on those anytime TDs. I expect two-way action, the Lions secondary injury report will probably dictate a bit where this line moves.”
Sharp action
It’s always notable where respected bettors have landed on this week’s games. While these prices may not currently be available at all sportsbooks, knowing where sharps have wagered can also be instructive for in-game wagering.
