Insider Reveals Shocking Truth Behind Maxx Crosby Trade Buzz—What Fans Aren't Told!

Is Maxx Crosby really packing his bags for Dallas, or has this latest NFL trade rumor just fizzled out like a damp firecracker? The chatter had been buzzing like mad—Las Vegas Raiders’ star defensive end linked to the Cowboys, sparking wild speculation across the league. But after a sit-down with the Raiders brass, it’s pretty clear the organization isn’t about to let go of their prized pass rusher anytime soon. Crosby himself has voiced his loyalty loud and clear—“I’m a Raider for life”—and the team’s $106.5 million contract extension tells you all you need to know about how vital he is to their future. So, with the November 4th deadline looming, should we finally put those trade talks to bed and focus on just how much grit and grind Crosby continues to bring to Allegiant Stadium?

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby sparked trade speculation across the NFL after reports linked him to the Dallas Cowboys.

That buzz appears to have quieted after the Raiders met with their Pro Bowl pass rusher.

The organization made it clear it has no intention of trading Crosby before the upcoming deadline, reassuring him that he remains central to their long-term plans.

Analyst Kirk Morrison recently addressed the situation and dismissed any lingering possibility of a deal.

“Maxx Crosby has come out and been outspoken, saying, ‘I don’t want to be traded.’ Do not trade me,” Morrison said. “He says, ‘I’m a Raider for life.’ They compensated him a contract in that way. So, I don’t foresee this happening.”

Crosby has spent his seven-year NFL career with the Raiders, establishing himself as one of the league’s premier pass rushers despite limited team success.

The franchise has struggled to build a competitive roster around him, with Crosby reaching the playoffs once, in the 2021 season.

The Raiders rewarded his loyalty this offseason with a three-year contract extension worth $106.5 million that runs through 2029.

Crosby has delivered strong individual production this season, with 28 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks in seven games.

He also recorded his first NFL interception.

Though wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is looking for a way out, Crosby’s commitment to Las Vegas remains despite the team’s ongoing struggles to find consistent success.

Hopefully, things will turn around at some point under head coach Pete Carroll.
