Yet another weekend of SEC football action has now passed, and as a result, the conference is now a week closer to finding out which two teams will eventually make it to Atlanta.

Taking a look back at this past Saturday as well, the SEC was home to three separate ranked games in Week 9, each of which saw the higher ranked teams come away with the win.

There were also a few near upsets in ranked vs. unranked SEC games this past weekend, potential results that could have sent the conference standings into absolute chaos. Instead, the higher ranked team won the games, meaning that a two-way tie remains atop the SEC between Alabama and Texas A&M.
