So grab your plate, settle in, and let’s uncover the hidden gems that have fans across the league nodding in gratitude this Thanksgiving. LEARN MORE
The Las Vegas Raiders don’t have as much to be thankful for as the Los Angeles Rams. But in honor of Thanksgiving, here’s one stat each NFL fanbase should be able to appreciate.
We’re coming up on the best day of the year, the perfect marriage of food, family and football! In honor of this great day, here is one thing each team and fanbase can be thankful for.
Arizona Cardinals
The game’s most productive tight end this season has been, by a wide margin, Trey McBride. He leads all tight ends in targets, receptions, receiving yards and is tied for the lead with seven receiving touchdowns.

Atlanta Falcons
It’s been a while since the Falcons had a good pass rush. This year, the Falcons defense is third in sacks. They haven’t finished inside the top 20 in the NFL in sacks since 2017.
Baltimore Ravens
Kyle Hamilton is one of the game’s great players. He has a pass coverage rating of 100.0, the highest mark in the league and one of only two players to have a skill rating of 100 in the NFL.

Buffalo Bills
Led of course by the unbelievable Josh Allen, the Bills are the NFL’s most explosive offense – leading the league in plays of 20+ yards.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are still in the playoff hunt because of their ability to end up on the right side of tight contests. Carolina is 4-0 in games that finish with a margin of three or fewer points, tied for the best mark in the NFL.
Chicago Bears
The Panthers aren’t the only good team in close games. If we extend that definition a little further, to one possession games (within eight points), the first-place Bears are 6-1 in such games, the best mark in the league.
Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow is coming back! And in case you forgot just how good he was last year, he led the NFL in completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns.
Cleveland Browns
It’s too easy to say Myles Garrett, who we’ll just say is an outrageously good football player. Instead, let’s go with Carson Schwesinger. There are 51 linebackers with at least 150 pass coverage snaps. Schwesinger has 207. His 131 burn yards allowed is the lowest mark of that entire group.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have clawed back to .500 and are within striking distance of a playoff spot, led by Dak Prescott and the offense. But it’s really George Pickens that has been the revelation. He is second in the NFL in receiving yards and third in touchdowns.
Denver Broncos
How about that defense, huh? The Broncos are first in so many categories it’d make for pretty boring reading. So instead, let’s just highlight that they have the most sacks in the NFL, which is one of the many reasons why they are the league’s best third-down defense and are tracking to have the lowest conversion rate allowed (28.9%) this decade. They’re entering Week 13 with an 86.8% chance of winning the AFC West.

Detroit Lions
The NFL is full of exciting players, and Jahmyr Gibbs might be right at the very top. His performance last week was one for the ages. Only one other time since 1960 has a player had 200 yards rushing, three touchdowns and at least 10 receptions – 23 years ago when LaDainian Tomlinson did something similar for the San Diego Chargers.
Green Bay Packers
The Packers are probably better than their 7-3-1 record indicates, which can only be considered a good thing for their Super Bowl chances. Another good thing? This is a historically good red-zone offense. Their 3.97 yards per play inside the opponent’s 20-yard line is tracking to be the second best mark since 2010.
Houston Texans
There are only five players in the NFL with a pass-rush rating of higher than 87.0. Two of them are Will Anderson Jr (90.6) and Danielle Hunter (87.6).
Indianapolis Colts
Well, we certainly know who Jonathan Taylor is thankful for. He runs behind an offensive line that has the NFL’s best run-blocking interior offensive lineman (Quenton Nelson), and two of the NFL’s five best run-blocking offensive tackles (Bernhard Raimann and Braden Smith).
Jacksonville Jaguars
Devin Lloyd leads all linebackers with five takeaways on the season, including a 99-yard pick-six against Patrick Mahomes in the Jaguars‘ win over the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the season.
Kansas City Chiefs
Speaking of Patrick Mahomes, his running mate for the last eight years is turning back the clock. Travis Kelce is second among tight ends in receiving yards, and his 12.5 yards per reception is on track to be his highest since 2020.
Las Vegas Raiders
Maxx Crosby plays essentially every snap of every game. There is not a single player that tries harder than he does, and there are very few that are simply even as good as he is. That particularly shows up in the running game, where his 56 run disruptions are 13 more than the next closest player.

Los Angeles Chargers
There are 79 players with at least 180 pass-coverage snaps at cornerback.. Only one of those 79 has allowed fewer than 10 burns: Derwin James Jr.
Los Angeles Rams
How about that Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams connection? It looks like those two have been playing together for years, at least from the doorstep of the end zone. Adams’ 12 receiving touchdowns are three more than any other player.
Miami Dolphins
As the Dolphins continue to do their very best to crawl back into the playoff picture, they’ll ride an opportunistic defense that has nine fumble recoveries in 11 games, the second most in the NFL.
Minnesota Vikings
There’s a lot of turmoil surrounding the quarterback position in Minnesota right now. So at least the Vikings can feel confident that they have their kicker for the next decade. Will Reichard has yet to miss a kick from inside 50 yards, and his eight field goals of more than 50 yards are tied for the most in the NFL.
New England Patriots
The Pats are the only team in the NFL with 10 wins. With one of the easiest schedules in football remaining, the Pats hold the inside path to the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
New Orleans Saints
It’s Demario Davis appreciation time. In what is his 14th NFL season, his 32 run disruptions are the second most among all linebackers.
New York Giants
Prior to 2025, the Giants didn’t have a single player with at least nine receptions, 150 receiving yards and a touchdown in a single game since Odell Beckham Jr in 2014. Not only did Malik Nabers do this against the Cowboys in Week 2 this season, but Wan’Dale Robinson hit those numbers last week as well.
New York Jets
The Jets may once again be looking for a new quarterback, but they can take solace in the fact that they have some young guys across the offensive line in Olu Fashanu and Armand Membou that are flashing all sorts of talent. Behind that tackle duo, the Jets are third in the NFL in percentage of rushes that go for 4+ yards. Just two years ago, New York was 26th. This is a marked improvement that will be extremely beneficial for the next guy for this franchise.
Philadelphia Eagles
Say what you want about the Eagles’ style of play, but one of the reasons they’re so good? They don’t turn the ball over. No team has turned the ball over less than Philadelphia, in part because Jalen Hurts is the only remaining starting quarterback with fewer than two interceptions.
Pittsburgh Steelers
There are 31 cornerbacks with at least 230 pass-coverage snaps. Among them, Joey Porter Jr. has the lowest burn percentage allowed at 38.2%.
San Francisco 49ers
Christian McCaffrey leads the NFL in receptions. No seriously, he does, and just as a reminder, he’s a running back! He is on pace to break all sorts of running back records, and he is the No. 1 reason why the 49ers are 8-4 on the season with a 74.1% chance of reaching the postseason.
Seattle Seahawks
You’d think teams know to cover Jaxon Smith-Njigba by now, but maybe he’s just that good. He is still on track to break the single-season receiving yards record and become the first player to break 2,000 yards.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Let’s end this piece by giving love to some of the big guys. Tristan Wirfs has got to be Baker Mayfield’s best friend. Wirfs leads all tackles in pass-block rating (94.4) and since keeping the quarterback upright is so essential to a team’s success, there aren’t many players more valuable across the NFL than Wirfs.
Tennessee Titans
He might be one of the league’s most underrated players because of the team he plays on, but Jeffrey Simmons leads all defensive tackles in pass-rush rating (96.0) and is second in run-defense rating (96.1).

Washington Commanders
Laremy Tunsil still has it. Of the 53 tackles with at least 200 pass-protection snaps, his 4.8% pressure rate allowed is the best mark.
