The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver saga has been nothing short of a rollercoaster over the past few years. Each season since 2024, the team has shaken up the roster at the position, sparking debate and raising eyebrows among fans and analysts alike. Starting with the trade of Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers in early 2024, the Steelers left a yawning gap they arguably never filled. Come 2025, they moved George Pickens after bringing in DK Metcalf — another bold maneuver that left the unit in flux. Fast forward to now, and after bringing Michael Pittman Jr. on board, the Steelers finally boast a solid duo on the outside. But with just four receivers listed, the front office clearly hasn’t hit the brakes.
