With that in mind, draft analyst Todd McShay recently said he believes Hunter should play wide receiver full-time and be sparingly used at cornerback.

Some scouts believe Hunter would be an elite, shutdown cornerback, but the reality is that he’s not going to have that many interceptions.

Even if he’s the ultimate ball-hawk, which he can be, opposing teams can just avoid throwing his way.

But if Hunter were to play wide receiver, he could be a highly targeted pass-catcher.

McShay believes Hunter needs to polish his route-running skills, but he’s as talented and dependable as they come.

Hunter could be an excellent two-way player, but the wear and tear that comes with playing in the NFL is unlike anything he’s ever experienced.

If he’s only going to play one position, whoever drafts him might as well make the most of his ability to haul in footballs on offense.
