Ahead of tonight’s 2025 NFL Draft, only one or two players can really say with any degree of certainty that they know where they’ll be drafted. One of those players is Cam Ward, who is slated to go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans.

Ward was a record-breaking quarterback during his five-year run in college. Playing for Incarnate Word, Washington State and finally Miami, Ward ended his career as the all-time leader in touchdown passes for a Division I quarterback. This past season, he was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, finishing fourth in the voting.

Ward will be in Green Bay, Wisconsin tonight to likely hear his name get called to the podium. One person who might turn some heads while he’s waiting in the green room is his reported girlfriend, Nailah Landon.

Though the two have not exactly hard-launched their relationship, Ward and Landon have been seen many times together in various social media videos and commenting on each other’s posts.

Landon and Ward most likely met at Incarnate Word, where Landon played college volleyball while Ward was playing as the team’s quarterback. Her numbers on Incarnate Word’s website shows that she put up some pretty solid numbers during two recorded seasons with the team.

Between 2020 and 2021, she recorded 192 kills, 11 of which came in one game against Northwestern State. She also had 108 total blocks as a sophomore. Prior to playing for Incarnate Word, she played a year of volleyball at Barry University.

Landon has four siblings and a cousin who played safety at SMU. She is actually a year older than Ward.

Ward may not be the can’t-miss quarterback prospect that Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning were back in the day, but he’s the only quarterback in the draft that even the most pessimistic analysts believe is a viable starting quarterback right now.

There’s good reason for that too. Ward put up great numbers against some really good teams during his years at Washington State and Miami. And while he may not have taken a team to the College Football Playoff, he has shown a ton of intangibles that teams love.
