At 73, as he gears up for a fresh chapter leading North Carolina’s football program, it seems his new romance with former pageant queen and cheerleader Jordon Hudson has become the talk of the town—sometimes overshadowing the X’s and O’s. With family concerns, social media chatter about fashionizing Super Bowl memorabilia, and debates swirling around Belichick’s future, one has to ask—is this a new play Belichick’s running, or has the curtain been pulled back on a surprising vulnerability? Dive into this fascinating blend of love, legacy, and locker-room drama.
It turns out NFL fans aren’t the only ones worried about legendary head coach Bill Belichick’s future.
Belichick, 73, is getting ready for his first season as the head coach of North Carolina’s football program. While that should be the main storyline involving him, it’s actually playing second fiddle to his love life.
Since 2023, Belichick has been dating former pageant winner Jordon Hudson. She was a cheerleader for Bridgewater State University. They made public appearances at The Museum Gala in December 2024 as well as this past February’s NFL Honors ceremony.
During a recent interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how he met Hudson. Before he could even answer that question, his girlfriend stepped in and said, “We’re not talking about this.”
That interview has raised concerns about Belichick’s future at UNC. Some fans are worried that he’s letting Hudson call all the shots.
According to Savage Sports, the Belichick family is also worried about the Super Bowl-winning coach.
“Jordon Hudson wants to use Belichick’s Super Bowl jerseys and memorabilia and turn them into ‘crop tops’ to wear,” the latest report from Savage Sports states. “The entire Belichick family is concerned about his well being and dislikes this entire situation.”
There’s a decent portion of the NFL community that’s convinced Belichick is being “played” by Hudson. Obviously, there’s no way anyone can prove that.
“This isn’t the Bill we know she’s got something on him,” one fan said.
Another fan replied, “I do feel bad, he’s definitely being used and he doesn’t realize it.”
Belichick has already said that he’s not worried about what everyone else thinks. He’s focused on doing what’s best for him.
As of right now, Belichick doesn’t see any issues with his relationship.
