Nebraska’s Season Opener at Arrowhead: Kickoff Time and TV Network Finally Revealed—Don’t Miss the Big Reveal!

With the college football season creeping up faster than you might think, here’s a juicy nugget to circle on your calendar: Nebraska and Cincinnati are set to clash under the bright lights at Arrowhead Stadium on August 28th, kicking off at 8:00 PM CT and airing live on ESPN. Now, here’s something wild — these two haven’t gone head-to-head since way back in 1906, when Nebraska handed Cincinnati a 41-0 drubbing. Originally slated for Cincinnati’s turf, the game’s relocated to the Chiefs’ home ground, adding extra intrigue to this early-season showdown. Huskers fans will also be marking the occasion as the first Nebraska game at Arrowhead since that tough loss in the 2006 Big 12 Championship against Oklahoma. Both teams bring fresh legs and fresh stories into 2025 — Cincinnati coming off a rough 5-7 campaign, while Nebraska walks in with a 7-5 record and a bowl victory under their belt for the first time since 2015. Early-season fireworks? I’d bet on it. LEARN MORE
