Lakers’ Ziaire Williams Drops Surprise Proposal at SoFi Stadium Amid Bruno Mars Spectacle—What Happened Next Will Shock You

Ziaire Williams hasn’t even stepped onto the court wearing that iconic purple and gold yet—but believe me, he’s already crafting moments worth remembering. Picture this: Bruno Mars crooning “Marry You” during his electric second night at SoFi Stadium, and Williams, caught in the magic of the moment, nails a buzzer-beater shot that finds nothing but net. Just as confetti begins to cascade from above, he goes down on one knee, turning a basketball court into the scene of a life-changing proposal to his longtime love, Paris Timan. The crowd’s roar and the giant stadium screen broadcast their joy—pure, unfiltered excitement shared in real time. It’s not just a new chapter for Williams professionally with that fresh Lakers contract—it’s also the beginning of a beautiful personal journey. The guy’s been through a rollercoaster, from top NBA draft pick to battling injuries, and now, a new home in L.A. All in all, it’s a truly unforgettable debut off the hardwood.
