Although the Pacers would love to witness Nesmith shoot like this again in Game 2 and beyond, it seems unlikely that he will.
But he will still be a huge help moving forward.
In 2024-25, Nesmith averaged 12.0 points and 4.0 rebounds on 50.7 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from the three-point line.
He did well during the regular season, but nothing suggested he was capable of the lights-out showing he had on Wednesday night.
