“I think Joe Milton was given permission to seek a trade,” Schefter said, via Brandon Loree. “I think that he recognized that Drake Maye was there, and they went out and signed Josh Dobbs as a veteran (backup).”
ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, on his podcast, talks about the #Cowboys trade for QB Joe Milton.
It sounds like the trade was a win-win for both sides, considering Milton wanted a fresh start, and Dallas wanted a backup to compete with Will Grier for QB2.
