Analyst Drops Shocking Forecast for Daniel Jones’ Showdown Against Rams – You Won’t Believe What’s Coming Next

Is Daniel Jones the NFL’s next bona fide superstar, or are we all just getting swept up in a rookie season magic trick? Well, after watching him fumble through the Giants’ woes for years, seeing Jones now orchestrate the Indianapolis Colts’ offense like an absolute maestro… it’s hard not to sit up and take notice. The Colts have been lighting up scoreboards like it’s nobody’s business, even when matched against defenses tight enough to give you a nosebleed — heck, their 4-0 run has folks whispering “MVP” when Jones’s name comes up. And speaking of whispers, none other than David Carr is betting big that this guy will torch the Rams’ stingy D at SoFi Stadium this Sunday. So, as we brace ourselves for what could be a fireworks-fueled showdown, the real question emerges: Can Jones keep this dazzling streak alive against a coach like Sean McVay who rarely serves up easy victories? One thing’s for sure — if the Colts keep this pace, we’re not just watching a season; we’re watching a potential legend take flight.

The Indianapolis Colts have looked like either the best or second-best offensive team in the National Football League so far.

Even against an elite defensive team like the Denver Broncos, Shane Steichen’s team was able to keep the chains in motion and put up points on the scoreboard.

Daniel Jones is looking like a superstar, and even though they will go against another strong and well-coached team in the Los Angeles Rams, David Carr loves their chances.

In his latest column, the former NFL quarterback predicted that Jones would put on a show against Sean McVay’s team:

“MVP candidate Daniel Jones shreds the Rams’ defense at SoFi,” Carr wrote. “Adding to his MVP candidacy, Jones humiliates the Rams’ fifth-ranked defense, racking up 375-plus total yards and four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing). The Colts keep surprising with a road win to improve to 4-0.”

Truth be told, there’s absolutely no reason to believe Jones and the Colts can’t keep this strong streak going.

Then again, going against McVay and the Rams has rarely paid off.

Still, the former New York Giants signal-caller is playing the best football of his career, finally looking not only like a starting-caliber quarterback but also like a legitimate star.

If that wasn’t enough, he might have the most versatile offensive weapon in the game in Jonathan Taylor, a legitimate candidate to run away with Offensive Player of the Year honors who’s not getting nearly as much attention as he deserves.

Rookie tight end Tyler Warren has also looked like a star in the making in the first three weeks of his NFL career.

It won’t be easy, and we could be looking at an exciting shootout on Sunday, but after what we’ve seen, it’s hard not to like the Colts’ chances.
