Mikel Arteta knows the stakes couldn’t be higher for Arsenal right now—and honestly, who can blame him? The Gunners are perched on the edge of something huge: a chance to clinch the Premier League title for the first time since 2004. It’s not just wishful thinking; after a blistering start to this season, they’re sitting comfortably four points clear of Bournemouth, while the reigning champs Liverpool are stumbling hard, having dropped six of their last seven. But as any savvy fan or analyst will tell you, the road ahead is far from a stroll in the park. Burnley, fresh off back-to-back wins and eager to climb out of danger, are gearing up for a fierce showdown this Saturday afternoon. Arteta’s message is crystal clear—we’ve got to keep our foot on the gas, sharpen that focus, and navigate every game with a mix of patience and urgency. Burnley’s Scott Parker has molded a tough, disciplined squad, making this next fixture a true test of Arsenal’s ambitions and resilience. The drama’s building—don’t blink or you’ll miss it.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admits his side have ‘a big opportunity’ to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004 after their fine start to the season.
The Gunners go into the weekend with a fouur-point lead over Bournemouth and with champions Liverpool on a slump that has seen them lose six of their last seven matches.
Arsenal face Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Arteta said: “It is a big opportunity that we have ahead of us but we have to continue with a level of consistency and we know how difficult that is.
“Tomorrow is going to be an extremely tough match for us and we are going to have to hit those performance levels to win the game.
“[Keep the foot on the gas] and maintain the level of urgency. [Keep] the concentration, the focus and the ambition we are showing in every game. Every game brings different challenges. Sometimes we have to be very patient, some of the times we have to have a different approach.”
The Clarets have won their last two games in the Premier League to move five points clear of the relegation zone and Arteta expects a tough match.
He said: “It is going to be really tough. They are well coached. What he [Burnley manager Scott Parker] has done with the club is formidable.
“When you look at all of their games – say the last five games they have played – they are a very tough team to beat.”
