Austin Rivers Drops Unexpected Bombshell About LeBron James – Fans Are Stunned!
LeBron James — a name etched in the annals of NBA greatness, undeniably the most accomplished player of all time. But here’s a twist that might just make you blink twice: is he truly the best shooter? Austin Rivers recently threw a curveball onto the hardwood of public opinion, hailing LeBron as perhaps the finest jumpshooter he’s ever seen, yet stopping short of calling him the best scorer. Instead, Rivers tips his hat to Kevin Durant, whose scoring repertoire, he argues, outshines even The King’s. It’s a fascinating debate that peels back the layers of LeBron’s game — not just sheer scoring numbers, but the grit, IQ, and relentless willpower that have defined his legacy. Sexy moves? Maybe not. Effective? Absolutely. Let’s dive into what makes LeBron James a basketball enigma, a leader still evolving past 40 years old, blending brute force with precision shooting — and why that might just be enough to keep the Lakers thriving.

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is the most accomplished NBA player of all time, but is he the best shooter?
Austin Rivers has an opinion about that and shared it recently.
It is sure to raise eyebrows.
He thinks that James is the best jumpshooter he’s ever been, but he doesn’t consider him the best scorer.
Instead, he thinks Kevin Durant is better than James.
“LeBron is number one [in scoring], but his game doesn’t match a prototypical scorer. It’s also not sexy. LeBron’s game is built on force, sheer will, dedication, his mind, his IQ, the way he is able to dissect and control a game, and power, above anything else. He wills himself to the basket. Now, you have to give the guy credit. As he’s gotten older, he’s become a better jumpshooter. It’s crazy that he’s going to retire the best jumpshooter he’s ever been…For instance, LeBron has scored more points than Kevin, but Kevin can score in a much bigger variety of ways than LeBron,” Rivers said, via NBACentral.
Austin Rivers says the best scorers he’s seen are KD, Harden, Kobe, MJ, and Iverson, and claims LeBron doesn’t have half of Durant’s bag

Rivers might not think James is the best scorer, but he certainly listed a ton of features to respect about him.
He doesn’t feel that James’ style of scoring is “sexy,” but it gets the job done, and the Lakers are very happy with how he produces on the court.
And no one will argue against James’ will, dedication, and mindset.
Even if he isn’t the best scorer, it’s clear that James is an NBA player unlike many others.
He has a deep bag that comes with many different tools that he can use.
And as he gets older, he is focusing on new areas of his game, such as his jump shots and assists.
This is allowing him to play after 40 years old and ensures that he is still helping the Lakers a lot, even as he grows older.
Sexy or not, James can score and, perhaps more importantly, he can lead.
