The Longhorns family has officially grown by one.
Over the weekend, coach Steve Sarksian and his wife, Loreal, welcomed their baby boy to the world — the couple’s first child together — adding a little brother to the fold for the three kids he shares from a previous marriage.
Loreal announced the birth via her Instagram page with a series of baby bump photos.
“He’s arrived, and our hearts are so full of love and gratitude!” she said. “Embracing these first days quietly resting, adjusting, and soaking in every little moment has been amazing! Thank you for your love and for respecting this sweet time of privacy.”
Fans couldn’t have been happier for the 51-year-old coach and his wife in the comments.

Steve and Loreal both worked together at USC before tying the knot in June of 2020 — a year before Sarkisian took the job in Austin.
Last year it was reported that the two were headed toward divorce, however they appear to have reconciled and have been spotted together on numerous occasions throughout the season and on social media.
Being the wife of a football coach can be tough but Loreal says she fully supports her husband’s choice in career and the time he puts into UT’s program.
“I respect it and I appreciate that, knowing how hard he works at it day-in and day-out and what it actually means to him and especially the journey he’s been on to this day personally and professionally,” she told WFAA back in January.
