Belichick’s Cryptic 5-Word Take on Hudson Sparks Speculation

This week the North Carolina head football coach was asked to give his response to the recent criticisms that his relationship has sparked along with the controversies. With just a five-word answer, he pretty much let the issue go:

“It is what it is,” he replied.

Belichick made it clear that his focus is UNC. He acknowledged that there may be “noise out there” but that his job is to build a football team and help his athletes build their careers.

“Look, I’m really focused on doing my job here at North Carolina… that’s my big focus,” Belichick said. “Is there noise out there? We’ve always dealt with that. Really, our job is to build a football team and… help build the team and also build their individual careers. So that’s really where we’re at.”
