
Beloved Football Coach’s Sudden Death at 47 Sparks Outpouring of Prayers and Unanswered Questions
A beloved high school football coach in Florida was diagnosed with cancer less than a year ago. Earlier this week, he passed away at a Florida hospital. Jeremy Palmer, a veteran high school football coach, has died.
Palmer, who coached at the Orlando University and Celebration high schools, was diagnosed with cancer in November. Doctors found tumors in his esophagus, brain, liver, diaphragm and lymph nodes. He had gone in for a routine exam before the cancer was found.
“He was not in any pain. He’s gone to be with Jesus,” his wife, Shannon Palmer, said. “He fought until that very last breath. He kept fighting for his family and that’s what Jeremy always did. He fought for the people he loved.
