Big Ten Coach Drops Unexpected Bombshell on SEC’s Scheduling Strategy—What It Means for College Football
Few coaches in college football have been as unafraid to ruffle feathers as Indiana’s Curt Cignetti.
Since arriving in Bloomington, the former JMU HC has had his share of quotables. And when asked about the school canceling its home-and-home series vs. Virginia in favor of adding an FCS opponent, Cignetti took it as a chance to send a direct shot across the bow at the SEC.
“That was a scheduling philosophy that began before I was hired. But I did sign off on it upon being hired, before our first season,” Cignetti shared during Big Ten Media Days.
