College football is an ever-changing landscape and those changes have become even more impactful recently. But there’s one longstanding tradition that a number of coaches within the Big Ten Conference would be happy to see get thrown away.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg spoke to the various coaches in the Big Ten during their recent Big Ten Media Days event in Las Vegas. Though it wasn’t an official talking point or question for soundbites, Rittenberg confirmed that all of the coaches he spoke to agreed that preseason ranking polls “should be obliterated.”
