Cabot recalled Belichick calling her to yell when he didn’t like one of her stories. She then joked that Belichick probably gave her a hard time because he “just couldn’t relate to a woman that old.”
“If Bill didn’t like something I wrote, he’d call and yell at me,” she said. “Now I totally understand why Bill game such a hard time,” she said. “I was 28 (years old) at the time and he just couldn’t relate to a woman that old.”
The joke was a clear dig at Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who is only 24 years old.
