Braxton Miller Faces Unexpected Backlash: What Sparked the Call for an Apology?

Miller, who starred at quarterback and wide receiver for Ohio State from 2011-15, is taking heat for his alleged behavior at a youth basketball game over the weekend. Miller leads an AAU team in Columbus, Ohio. He has a son who plays both basketball and football.

A referee at the game is accusing Miller of acting inappropriately following the game. The referee, who has been officiating high school and college basketball for more than 10 years, says that Miller threw a basketball at him.
