C.J. Mosley Shocks Fans with Unexpected Career Move – What’s Next for the Star?
The news comes on Mosley’s 33rd birthday.
The New York Jets released him this offseason and he did not sign with another team.
He missed most of last season with neck and toe injuries.
After a dominant first five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, the Jets signed him to a five-year, $85 million contract in 2019.
Unfortunately, he missed plenty of time under that contract, first due to injuries and then by opting out of the 2020 campaign during the pandemic.
Mosley didn’t need much time to pick up where he left off, as he had 168, 158 and 152 combined tackles in the next three years, earning a second-team All-Pro selection.
