Castillo's Command: Can He Truly Dominate the Marlins?
When you think back to the glory days of baseball, what memories do you conjure? For many of us, it’s not just about the game, but the nostalgic pull of following your team through the grainy pages of the local newspaper. Ah, the grand days of checking out the box scores early in the morning with breakfast! Who was your favorite team to watch back then? If you, like me, were a bit of a baseball nomad growing up, then following an out-of-market team was, let’s face it, an exercise in patience and dedication. My heart always belonged to the Cubs, but oh, how I loved watching the Seattle Mariners swing away. Griffey’s home runs, Ichiro’s batting stance, and oh dear, Alex Rodriguez in his prime! It was a treat that never gets old.
Today, as times have changed, my allegiance has shifted from team loyalty to the sheer adrenaline of the bet. And here we are, with the surprisingly sprightly Marlins facing off against those same Mariners – a game that promises some good ole fashioned baseball. Expected at 9:40 Eastern? Don’t you just love the anticipation?
