SEC fans got to know Danielson intimately for nearly two decades as the color commentator for the “SEC on CBS” alongside Verne Lundquist and later Brad Nessler.Â
Last season, as the SEC moved to ESPN, CBS began its partnership with the Big Ten, broadcasting the league’s marquee Saturday game.Â
In his final season, Danielson will remain in his role as analyst for CBS’ Big Ten Game of the Week, working with Nessler and sideline reporter Jenny Dell.
