The Los Angeles Chargers got back on track with a strong all-around performance against the Minnesota Vikings to open Week 8.

With an impressive win in their pocket and a matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9, the Chargers reportedly made four roster moves.

“Chargers signed Kyle Peko, Marcus Williams to practice squad, released Luke Grimm, Nyheim Hines from practice squad,” Aaron Wilson wrote on X.

Peko has 47 games of regular-season experience as a defensive lineman for five different teams over seven NFL seasons.

Los Angeles has had to place two defensive tackles on injured reserve over the past few weeks as Otito Ogbonnia and Da’Shawn Hand have elbow and groin injuries, respectively.

With Tony Jefferson and Derwin James also nursing injuries, the addition of Williams to the secondary is an intriguing move as well.

He has 20 interceptions since the New Orleans Saints selected him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Baltimore Ravens let him go after he had his first season without an interception in 2024.

There’s no guarantee that Peko or Williams will make their way to the active roster, but these are two useful players to have around just in case.

Veterans can be solid additions to any organization, while Grimm and Hines will now look to catch on elsewhere.
