Chet Holmgren Drops Unexpected Revelation About His Upcoming Season Plans—What Fans Didn’t See Coming!

So, here we are again—standing at the edge of a brand-new NBA season, wondering if Chet Holmgren can finally break free from that nagging injury cloud and unleash the full fury that scouts drooled over last year. I mean, the guy helped the Oklahoma City Thunder clinch the championship, but if you ask him, he’s still hungry for more—like a chef who’s just not satisfied with the appetizer. Can a healthy Holmgren be the X-factor that pushes the Thunder from “great” to downright terrifying? If last season taught us anything, it’s that when Chet’s on, defenses scramble; when he’s sidelined, well… they still survive, but just barely. So, buckle up—because if he’s right about hitting the ground running this time, the rest of the league better start sleeping with one eye open.

Chet Holmgren helped the Oklahoma City Thunder become champions last season, but he wants to get even better.

Holmgren wasn’t entirely satisfied with his output, and he admits that an injury slowed him down.

In the season ahead, he plans to stay 100 percent healthy and look even better on the court.

“I just gotta stay healthy, man. Last year, I was getting to all my different spots at the beginning of the year and then I got hurt. I didn’t quite feel like me when I came back… I was able to get right this summer. Feel like I got a lot more to show. I feel pretty good about where I’m at when the season starts,” Holmgren said while speaking to his fans online.

Holmgren’s average of 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists last season wasn’t bad by any means, but it wasn’t enough for him.

He started the season strong with multiple games scoring in double digits.

But then he got hurt toward the beginning of November and sat out all the way until February.

Obviously, OKC was able to get by without him, but he was sorely missed.

Holmgren is stating that he never felt like his regular self, even when he was back in the game with the Thunder.

He obviously needed more time to heal, and that is what the summer has provided him.

Holmgren believes he will be the whole package in the new season, which is scary news for the rest of the league.

The Thunder are the best team in the league, but everyone agrees they could actually improve.

Yes, they just won a championship, yet there is a chance of them evolving even more in the months ahead.

Holmgren will be part of that, and if he can reach his goal of being 100 percent healthy, he will be a fearsome threat to all other teams.
