Chris Broussard Stands Firm on Shocking Super Bowl Prediction – Is Everyone Missing the Mark?

So here we are, barely into Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season, and already the air is thick with Super Bowl talk—specifically, Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium. Now, I don’t know about you, but isn’t it a bit audacious to start penciling in that February showdown when the leaves have barely changed? Yet, Chris Broussard, ever the confident analyst, has doubled down on his bold Green Bay Packers prophecy, insisting they’re not just playoff hopefuls, but legitimate champions in the making. After watching the Packers dismantle the Washington Commanders 27-18 on Thursday night and cruising to a perfect 2-0 start, Broussard’s got folks wondering: Is this the season Green Bay turns potential into glory, or is it just another hype train departing a station full of hopes and what-ifs? Either way, with Jordan Love throwing touchdowns like a maestro and Micah Parsons patrolling the defense, the Packers’ swagger is impossible to ignore. So, buckle up—because whether you love them or love to doubt them, the Packers might just make this early prediction one heck of a conversation starter.

It may only be Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start looking all the way ahead to February and Super Bowl LX in Levi’s Stadium.

Most of the usual suspects looked great in Week 1, and a few of the Super Bowl favorites surely made the fans who selected them to win it all feel great about their performance, including analyst Chris Broussard.

Broussard doubled down on his Super Bowl prediction on Friday morning following Thursday Night Football, appearing on First Things First and reiterating how he said the Green Bay Packers are going to the Super Bowl, which he believes they proved once again on Thursday.

“The Packers proved they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders,” Broussard said.

Green Bay handled the Washington Commanders convincingly by a score of 27-18 to move to 2-0 after they throttled the Detroit Lions in Week 1.

The Packers are already clicking on all cylinders on both sides of the ball after trading for Micah Parsons just before the season started, and it’s certainly not unreasonable for people to be considering them as potential Super Bowl contenders.

Jordan Love has thrown four touchdowns through two games and has played turnover-free football, while Josh Jacobs continues to be one of the most consistent running backs in the league.

The Commanders and Lions both have Super Bowl aspirations as well after each had great years in 2024, and the Packers made each of them look rather pedestrian over the first two games of the season.

Broussard is far from the only person predicting a Packers Super Bowl run after their outstanding performance last night, and we’ll see if Green Bay can get to 3-0 next week when they take on the Cleveland Browns.
