My Two Cents: South Carolina. Dawn Staley. Thatâs it. Perhaps the committee thought the previous national champions needed a bit of motivation in giving the Bruins the No. 1 overall seed. A chip on the Gamecocks’ shoulder, perhaps. March is March so nothing is promised, but it looks like South Carolinaâs Final Four opportunity to lose. What Dawn has built from the ground up while delivering sustained success should absolutely be heralded.
