Tigers coach Dabo Swinney will hire Clemson‘s first strength and conditioning coach in nearly three decades.Batson is entering his 29th season at this position with Clemson and 40th year as a strength and conditioning coach at the college level. Since 2022, Swinney has hired five assistants: defensive tackles coach Nick Eason (2022), offensive coordinator Garrett Riley (2023), offensive line coach Matt Luke (2024), defensive ends coach Chris Rumph (2024) and defensive coordinator Tom Allen (2025). All were not at Clemson prior to joining the staff, but all except Allen have generated immense results to their respective groups.
