Colin Cowherd Doubles Down: Why He’s Unapologetic About His Bombshell Comments on Deion Sanders
NFL teams haven’t said why Shedeur fell to the fifth round, but Cowherd is convinced it’s due to Deion Sanders’ relentless commentary.
“Watching the NFL Draft this year on both ESPN and the NFL Network was maddening. ‘I can’t understand why he’s dropping. What in the world is happening?’ Dad is happening,” Cowherd said.
Cowherd wasn’t done criticizing Sanders. He later referred to the Hall of Famer as a pageant mom.
“Quarterback dad has become pageant mom. Your heart is in the right place, you have good intent. You are hurting your sons,” Cowherd continued. “…NFL teams are not going have dads who tell them where their son’s going to play. Get out in the sun and get burned. Deion was in the sun. Deion spent too much on time on television talking.”
