It was no secret that the Phoenix Suns were working on a blockbuster Kevin Durant trade, and it also wasn’t surprising when news broke that he was eventually traded to the Houston Rockets on the morning of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
The surprise was that he didn’t fetch quite the haul that many expected, as the Suns received Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the tenth overall pick in this week’s draft, and five second-round picks in exchange for the future Hall of Famer.
