While the legendary Alabama coach isn’t exactly sure what his new role will entail, Rodriguez says he has full trust in the seven-time national champion‘s ability to lead college football into the future — and he even has some interest in joining the work group himself.
Appearing on SiriusXM Radio, Rich Rod told Dusty Dvoracek and Danny Kanell that he’d be very open to helping shape this new version of college athletics under Saban.

“I think, the greatest college football coach of all time, and not only [does] he [have] a great grasp of the game in general, my phone, I will give him my cell number,” Rodriguez said. “[If] they want an active coach to be on a deal, I’ll be on that sucker.”
