
College Football’s Bold New Move: Jersey Ads Set to Shake Up the Game Forever
In an era of college athletics where name, image and likeness reign supreme, anything school’s can do to further monetize their brands can and will be done.
Last season the NCAA allowed universities to sell on-field advertisements which many programs took advantage of, so moving an ad logo from the grass to a jersey likely won’t be viewed as too much of a stretch.
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey made his thoughts on the patches clear when asked about it a year ago.
