College GameDay’s Week 1 Choice Sparks Outrage—What Were They Thinking?
There’s controversy with ESPN College GameDay’s first location of the 2025 college football season.
Week 1 of the 2025 college football regular season will be the final show of Lee Corso’s career. The 89-year-old college football analyst, who has been an analyst on ESPN’s College GameDay program since its inception in 1987, will be retiring for good following the Week 1 show.
“My family and I will be forever indebted for the opportunity to be part of ESPN and College GameDay for nearly 40 years,” said Corso. “I have a treasure of many friends, fond memories and some unusual experiences to take with me into retirement.”
