I waited too long to drop Jaquez in my rankings, so I’m finally catching up. There’s a stark difference in Jaquez’s numbers with and without Tyler Herro on the floor this season. In five games with Herro, Jaquez’s numbers dip to just 9.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 23 minutes. In the first 20 games of the season without Herro, he was at 17-6-5 in 31 minutes per game. I’m not writing him off completely, but a steady decline with an outlier performance once per week is the likely outcome.
