Could Texas A&M’s QB Be the Game-Changer the Aggies Desperately Need in 2026?
Texas A&M’s 2026 season is just over five months away, and while the Aggies kicked off the spring practice season last Friday, coach Mike Elko, who enters his third season at the helm, stated that his team is a ways away from reaching its potential after making the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history just a short four months ago.
This offseason, after 20-plus players departed the program, including a nation-leading 13 former starters invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, Elko and his revamped coaching staff added 17 transfer portal additions, combined with 25 of 26 freshmen from the 2026 signing class, who have all looked the part thus far during the start of the spring season.
