The promising first-round prospect recently met with the team, which adds to a growing pattern for the Patriots, who have already scheduled visits with premier edge defenders including Abdul Carter, Oluwafemi Oladejo and Nic Scourton.
“Texas A&M edge Shemar Stewart, whose Combine workouts helped him to be considered a top pick, has a visit today with the Patriots, source said. After New England, Stewart has the [San Francisco] 49ers and [Chicago] Bears,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport wrote on X.
